Welcome to The Cove Motel — a cozy, retro-inspired escape nestled in the heart of Conneaut Lake, PA! We’re a locally owned, family-run motel with deep roots and big love for this little lakeside town. Built in 1960, our property was once known as the Ski Tow Motel, then the Irish Cove for nearly 40 years — until we stepped in and began a new chapter in 2022. From the moment we pulled into the driveway and saw the glow of the vintage lights out front, we knew we’d found something special!

We’re Josie & Joe — husband and wife, parents, and small-town dreamers who wanted to move back home and build something that felt meaningful. Every inch of this place has been updated with love, intention, and a little 60s soul — from the funky tile to the hand-picked room themes. We wanted to create a space that felt like a peaceful getaway from the noise of everyday life. And that’s exactly what The Cove has become!

Each of our 13 motel rooms and 6 extended-stay apartments are clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need — Wi-Fi, cable, mini fridges, Keurigs, and microwaves. We also have a few pet-friendly rooms, plenty of outdoor space to unwind, and easy access to all the local favorites: restaurants, beaches, bars, the winery, and of course, the lake.

Running The Cove has been one of the most rewarding chapters of our lives — not just because of the motel, but because of the incredible people we get to meet. From weekenders and fishermen to cross-country travelers, our guests feel like family.
